A trout plant is scheduled at Lake Evans for the week of February 17, 2020.


Special Event Announcement - National Water Ski Racing Association Spring Open

  • Saturday, March 21, 2020
  • Event includes water ski racing, custom car show, boat show and food vendor.
  • Spectators are welcome!! All normal BVARA applicable fees will be charged at the entry gate.
  • Closure Announcement:
    • The west side of Lake Webb will be CLOSED to the public for this event including the Day Use Boat Launch Ramp.
    • Please note: Friday, March 20, 2020 will be the set up date for the event.

Kern County Parks & Recreation strives to do the best job possible in serving our customers. Comments and suggestions for improvement are always appreciated!

Kern County Parks & Recreation manages 8 regional parks, 40 neighborhood parks, and 25 public buildings, supervises three golf courses and landscapes 76 county buildings. Our facilities include fishing lakes, Veterans, Senior, Community and Recreation Buildings, group and individual campgrounds, boating, sailing, a soccer park, and museums.
